For Members Only

 Membership Extension

Members are the heart of the Missouri Botanical Garden. As a sign of appreciation for sticking with us during these uncertain times, we have extended all active and recently lapsed memberships at the Individual through President’s Circle levels to cover the time the Garden was closed (up to three months).

Your support means so much to us, and we want to make sure you have every chance to take advantage of all your membership benefits. You will not receive a new membership card for the extension, but your existing card and Member ID number will give you access to the advanced e-tickets you’ll need to visit.

If you would like to waive your membership extension—which helps us direct more financial resources toward our critical operations—please email the membership team or indicate that on your renewal form.

 Membership Renewal

If you are considering renewing your membership right now, know that your timely support will make an immediate impact on our operations and programs. The extended months of membership will be added to your new term.

I don’t know my Member ID. How can I reserve my timed e-tickets?

Your Member ID number is located on your membership card. For members who received an extension, your ID number from your existing card will work on our e-ticketing website. If you do not have a membership card, please contact or (314) 577-5118.

How many free member general admission e-tickets do I get?

Your member level determines how many free adult e-tickets you may reserve each visit. All memberships also include child tickets for children 12 and under, but your total group size may not exceed 10 at this time.

Individual – 1 adult

Garden/Garden Senior – 2 adults

Friends and Family – 4 adults

Festival – 6 adults

With the extension, how do I know what my new expiration date is?

We added three months of membership to all active terms. If your membership lapsed during our closure (March–May 2020), we reinstated your membership through August 31, 2020. If you renewed during our closure, you will receive the extension + 12 months. A few examples are below.

 Membership FAQs

I renewed this spring. When will I receive my membership packet?

Since we were unable to mail membership packets during our closure, we are working hard to catch up. Please use your existing membership card and ID in the meantime. Thank you for your patience.

I already renewed my membership. Why did I receive an additional renewal notice?

Sometimes our renewal mailings and your membership donation cross in the mail. If you have renewed, simply recycle any redundant renewal requests and accept our apologies.

With no trams or Children’s Garden right now, what happens to the Bonus Blooms you sent me?

Save your Bonus Blooms—as long as your membership is current we will honor out-of-date Bonus Blooms anytime in the future.

Can I renew my membership or become a member on site at the Garden right now?

Yes! You can join or renew using a credit card onsite right now. But, keep in mind, you will need to have already reserved your timed and dated e-tickets to enter the Garden and complete your onsite membership transaction.
